We have good news for fans of the tactical shooter Aliens: Dark Descent. The latest game set in the Aliens universe received an update that introduced, among other things, the New Game Plus mode. Details about the patch were shared by Tindalos Interactive studio:

  1. Players can start a new adventure after completing the main campaign;
  2. Marines will reach a maximum level 15;
  3. Character traits and attributes remain the same;
  4. Weapons, equipment and various upgrades must be unlocked again.

The update also introduces two additional options to raise the difficulty level. These are:

  1. Perfect Organism - increases the damage inflicted by the aliens;
  2. We're Too Late - enables you to make the challenge more difficult at the initial invasion stage.

In addition, Aliens: Dark Descent has received a number of fixes for minor and major bugs. The latest update also improves the optimization.

Aliens: Dark Descent was released on June 20. The game hit PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S and was warmly received by both critics, as well as gamers (of the 6952 reviews on Steam, the positive ones account for as much as 88%).

If you haven't yet tried the game, and are wondering if it is actually as good as the reviewers and players claim, its purchase is now especially worthwhile. On Steam a promotion is underway, enabling ou to buy Aliens: Dark Descent 33% off, the lowest price to date. You have until November 2 to take advantage of the offer.
