This summer was unusually good when it comes to new video games, bringing a few GOTY-worthy titles. October picks the gauntlet, bringing a slew of high-profile releases, including a few interesting reboots and remasters.

Spider-Man returns in a genuine sequel
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is one of those titles that we're waiting for... to arrive on PC. For now, it's a PlayStation 5 exclusive that continues the story of the original installment and its spin-off, Miles Morales. Two Spider-Men must join forces to fight against evil and crime represented by Kraven the Hunter, the Lizard, and Venom himself. The latter one is, after all, the reason for the alterations happening to one of the characters, Peter Parker.
The same, just bigger, better and more badass?
In Marvel's Spider-Man 2 we will control two heroes. During the exploration of New York, we can switch at any time, but the story set-pieces were designed in a way that focuses on a specific Spider-Man. Our protagonists have a common skill tree, in addition to their own ones. Of course, there will be no shortage of swinging on the webs and spectacular combat sequences.
