RPG 31 January 1997

The seventh installment of the extremely popular series of Japanese RPG games created by Square Enix. The production became famous as one of the most cult parts of the cycle, offering a heart-gripping story and many solutions adopted later permanently into the genre. The title tells the story of Cloud Strife and a group of his friends fighting against the powerful Shinra corporation.

RPG 01 March 1998

An incredibly popular action RPG developed by Blizzard Entertainment. The story of Diablo is set in a fantasy world called Sanctuary, a realm facing a great danger. The Lord of Terror, imprisoned in a magical soul stone, tries to break free. The demon managed to dominate the minds of bishop Lazarus and king Leoric as well as raise an army of creatures that threatens the citizens of Tristram. The brave prince Aidan steps up to fight the forces of evil.

Arcade 24 October 2000

The third installment of the famous series of colourful 3D platformers. Production develops the assumptions of the cycle, adding, among other things, new playable characters with individual abilities.

Action 03 September 1998

A tactical action game with stealth features, developed by Konami, as well as continuation of the Metal Gear series, which began over a decade earlier on 8-bit MXS computers. The story takes place in the not-so-far future and tells about an attack of a dangerous terrorist organization on a secret military base in Alaska.

Action 22 October 1999

A sequel to the very popular, and rather controversial, game from DMA Design (currently Rockstar North), which offered a taste of criminal lifestyle, letting you commit progressively more brazen and bloody acts of violence. The second part once again takes you to the streets of a virtual metropolis, and although it features only one city, it is much bigger than those in the first game. It is divided into three districts controlled by three local gangs. Players do various jobs for the gangs.

Adventure 16 August 1999

Set in a dark world, an action adventure game with a view of TPP, in which the banished vampire Raziel realizes a plan of revenge on his former ruler. Successful production combines action sequences with logical challenges.

Action 12 December 1997

A controversial action game developed by the Scotch studio DMA Design. The game takes place in three American cities, based on Miami, New York and San Francisco. The objective of the game is to complete various missions received from mafia bosses. At first the missions are simple (for example, stealing cars), but as player’s reputation increases, the objectives become more complicated and player starts participating in bank robberies, murders and other insolent crimes.

Action 10 October 2000

A shooter with elements of horror, based on the popular Alien: Awakening from 1997. The production depicts the fate of cloned Ellen Ripley and a group of mercenaries trying to survive the clash with bloodthirsty aliens. The production allows players to play four different heroes, and each of them has a unique equipment. Among the opponents there are iconic xenomorphs, small hugger guys and hostile soldiers.

Action 29 March 1998

The first production by Squaresoft studio, which was addressed to adult audiences. Parasite Eve combines elements of horror with mechanics known from action games and RPGs in an innovative way.

Arcade 31 October 1998

Digital reissue of the platformer from 1998, which is the third fully-fledged part of the series about the adventures of the friendly Jamrai Crash. In this part of the game he also has to help his sister Coco. Together they move in time to stop the villains who want to reverse the course of history and prevent the frustrated plans of Dr. Neo Cortex from being thwarted.

Arcade 02 November 1999

Continuation of the Insomniac Games studio hit. The production presents another adventure of the purple dragon Spyro and is a typical 3D platform where players can face agility and logic challenges.

Action 31 October 1999

A cinematic FPP World War II shooter created by DreamWorks Interactive, co-founded by Steven Spielberg. In Medal of Honor, we play as former pilot Lieutenant Jimmy Patterson, recruited by the OSS. The action takes place in the final period of the war and our hero's task is to perform various tasks in such countries as France, Germany and Norway.

Arcade 09 September 1998

The first installment of the famous 3D platformer series, in which the main character is the comforting purple dragon Spyro. The production was exclusively released on PlayStation 1.

Action 30 November 1996

The first FPS game from the LucasArts stable, set in the world of Star Wars. The player plays the role of a former soldier of the Empire, now a mercenary, whose task will be to stop Darth Vader and his elite army: Dark Troopers.

Adventure 31 January 1999

A classic survival horror movie from PlayStation, which started one of the most popular series in its genre. In the game we play the role of Harry Mason, who together with his daughter goes on holiday to the title town of Silent Hill. On the spot, the protagonist undergoes an accident, after which it turns out that his daughter has disappeared and the city is shrouded in dense, mysterious fog.

Arcade 27 September 1997

Three-dimensional platformer filled with various agility challenges. The main character is the title crocodile, which sets out to rescue abducted friends. The game is designed for younger users.

Action 01 September 2000

Telling the story of one of the most famous comic book heroes 3D action game. The title tells its own story of Spider-Man and actively uses a wide list of superheroes and villains from the world of Marvel.

Action 13 November 2000

Continuation of the 1999 hit. This is an action game set in the open world of cars, in which the player takes on the role of a policeman acting under the cover. The missions focus mainly on impressive chases or the shortest possible route from A to B. A novelty in relation to the first part of the cycle is to allow the main hero to leave the vehicle he controls.

Action 05 October 1999

The sequel to the groundbreaking first-person shooter by id Software that, just like its predecessor released the year before, set new visual standards thanks to the enhanced idTech 2 engine. The action of Quake II takes place in the distant future where humanity established contact with a biomechanical race of the technologically advanced Stroggs. When it turned out that the alien secretly plan to conquer Earth, a special space marine unit was sent into action.

Racing 07 July 2000

The second entry in the legendary racing game series that focuses on car rallies. Colin McRae Rally 2.0 was developed by Codemasters Software. The game takes the player to over ninety rally Special Stages in eight world cup qualifiers. CMR 2.0 offers thirteen cars, among them Ford Focus 2000, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI, Subaru Impreza WRC and Peugeot 206 WRC. The Special Stages are located in such locations as Finland, Italy or Kenya.

Fighting 10 October 1996

The last installment of the cult series of virtual fights, in which the authors used a side projection and two-dimensional digitized models superimposed on computer-generated backgrounds.

Arcade 22 November 2002

A humorous arcade game addressed to the youngest players. Pink Pantera inherits a house where a treasure is hidden. Our task is to find it. The whole offers nine different levels, bonus mini-games, many hours of fun.

Fighting 24 June 1998

The fourth installment of the popular series of fights and, at the same time, the first, in which the clashes take place in three-dimensional arenas. The title has retained all the elements characteristic of the cycle, including brutal finishers on defeated enemies.

Strategy 30 November 1999

Worms: Armageddon is an extended version of the cult turn-based strategy, Team 17 Software. The creators remained true to the original Worms gameplay, but added new fun modes, additional weapons and accessories for the title games. Along with the release of the game, WORMNET network service servers were also launched, allowing for multiplayer clashes via the Internet.
