A sequel to a groundbreaking action-adventure game released in 1996. In the original game, the player followed the adventures of the extraordinary Lara Croft - an archeologist exploring ancient tombs located all around the world, searching for valuable artifacts. In Tomb Raider II created again by Core Design, the plot focuses around the search for a mythical dagger from the Xian temple. The item itself is capable of turning a human being into a powerful dragon.

Another installment in the bestselling jRPG series which has been in development since the mid-80s. It is the first game in the franchise to be available for PlayStation 2. Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King is set in a well-known fantasy universe. The player controls a party of adventurers who have to stop the evil Dhoulmagus and remove the curse he placed on the king and his daughter. As we progress, the protagonists gain new abilities and items and become stronger.

The first official add-on to the third installment of Total War – the popular series created by Creative Assembly. As suggested by the title, Rome: Total War – Barbarian Invasion focuses on a very unfavorable time for the Roman Empire between 363 and 476. At that time, Europe had fallen under the reign of barbarian tribes, while the east had a new power player emerging in the form of Persian Empire.

Another installment in the Need for Speed racing game series. This time, the game brings an unexpected twist, for a typically arcade series turns towards realism. The new developer, by the name of Slightly Mad Studios, created new driving physics that focus on simulation rather than arcade gameplay. Similar to 2007's ProStreet, races take place on closed racing circuits. The player can participate in the entire season of races, taking place both on fictional and real circuits.

World of Goo is a logic-arcade game produced and published by Kyle Gabler and Ron Carmel, a two-person development team from the 2D Boy studio. The game, designed exclusively for one player, consists in building various constructions of gelatinous slurry balls, i.e. the title Goo, which is permanently disturbed by gravity and other laws of physics. The title, characterized by specific visual setting and original situational humour, was considered one of the most original games of 2008.

An original two-dimensional adventure game developed by Amanita Design - an independent Czech studio popular for the Samorost series. The action is set in a bizarre world made entirely of metal. All the plants, wildlife and humans were replaced by robots. The player assumes the role of one such robot, wrongfully sent to a junkyard. Once back in town, the protagonist discovers the existence of a conspiracy aiming to murder its leader.

Halo: Spartan Strike is an isometric sequel to Halo: Spartan Assault, a mobile/PC spin-off of the legendary FPS series. The game was created by two studios, 343 Industries and Vanguard Games, and takes place at the same time as Halo 2. Once again, we play as Spartan Davis, who, leading 30 UNSC units, explores 30 diversified levels and faces hordes of space invaders. We will use all kinds of weapons and special abilities characteristic to the series.

Another game by independent Swedish studio Image & Form, set in the universe of SteamWorld, which combines elements of Steampunk and Western genres. The game is set in the distant future, where a powerful cataclysm forced the remaining inhabitants to flee into space on steam space ships. The player becomes a captain of a group of robo-pirates who are trying to survive in this post-apocalyptic reality by raiding and plundering enemy bases and ships.

A post-apocalyptic survival strategy game with RPG elements, created by Polish developer Robot Gentleman Studios. You play as the head of a typical American family, who has to provide for his loved ones in the face of an incoming nuclear war. The game starts 60 seconds before the first explosion, giving you one minute to get to a shelter while grabbing the most essential provisions on the way.

A sequel to the well-received adventure game from Animation Arts, the creators of the Secret Files series. The action is set in 1956, 20 years after the events of the original game. Starring, once again, Fenton Paddock who came back to the British army after he had escaped Hong Kong. While in Africa, the hero receives a confidential order from the HQ which marks the beginning of another great adventure. The gameplay resembles classic adventure games.

In Worms WMD, the basic gameplay principles remain unchanged, and the players still have to eliminate the opposite team using a number of more or less unconventional weapons. The participants make their moves in turns and their actions are limited by a time limit.

It was developed by the Japanese studio DeNA, creators of games like Transformers: Battle Tactics, Transformers: Age of Extinction, or Star Wars: Galactic Defense. We play as the well-known superheroes from the comic books, like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Daredevil, Captain America, Hulk, or Thor. Our job is to save the planet from a mechanical army.

In order to succeed, one has to erect defensive structures that protect his or her settlement after logging out. The game strongly emphasizes starting the titular clans in order to receive ally support.

Full-fledged continuation of one of the biggest mobile hits. In production we again run away with the stolen figure, bypassing various obstacles and collecting gold on the way. The title can boast a significantly improved, compared to the first part, graphic design.

In terms of the plot, the title is a kind of supplement to the third part of the series, and its action takes place parallel to the events described there. We play as Randall Ezmo, a former Cerberus agent who, having discovered the horrifying experiments conducted in the company's laboratories, decides to take revenge on his former employer.
